November 2024 brought one of the biggest achievements of the year for GLORE. At the very last moment, we qualified for the Samsung MČSR in Brawl Stars and went on to claim silver medals after a breathtaking final against the tournament favorites from Sampi.
Our road to the MČSR was far from easy. In the online stage, we first defeated Insane Riders, but then narrowly lost to Sampi. That meant we had to fight for our place in Brno once again. A 1:3 loss to Insane Riders temporarily ended our hopes, but following their disqualification, we received another chance as replacements and secured our spot at the biggest domestic event of the year.
In the semifinals, we completely dominated Inside Games with a convincing 3:0 victory. In the final, we faced the reigning champions from Sampi. After an incredibly close series, we took a 2:1 lead, but in the decisive moments, luck ultimately went our opponents’ way. The final ended 2:3, with GLORE finishing in second place.
